INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS DESIGNER (ISD)
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI – polygraph preferred

The Instructional Systems Designer position will support the development of world class training for the IC workforce through the design of innovative and engaging learning programs to build technical, leadership and professional skills.

RESPONSBILITIES
- Work within an intelligence agency organization responsible for providing technology and training to keep staff on the forefront of the digital landscape.
- Work with clients to understand their learning needs and translate to relevant learning content.
- Responsible for end-to-end instructional systems design for a variety of courses in leadership, technical and professional skills topics
- Leading the strategic and tactical elements of course design and development to deliver innovative training using industry standards such as ADDIE and SAM for instructor-led scenario based and web-based training
- Support the transition of in-person training to virtual learning content. Work with service delivery teams to develop training for new capabilities.
- Design and conduct course evaluations and curriculum review to update courses upon completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional systems design, training, human resources or related field.
- 8 years of experience in instructional systems design, with approximately 5 years of hands-on experience producing eLearning storyboards and other artifacts with eLearning development software programs such as Camtasia, Captivate, Storyline and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with online learning programs such as Moodle and Blackboard
- A track record of transitioning in person to virtual instructor-led or e-learning content
- Proven experience as a self-starter who also works well with a team
- The ability to multi-task and build strong relationships with customers
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
